With exceptional job outcomes, the Certificate III in Aged Care program offers individuals a supportive learning environment and unique opportunities to develop the physical, mental and emotional skills associated with the human services area.
Successful completion of the Certificate III in Aged Care qualifies graduates to work as Care Workers in the Community Services and Aged Care Sector. This qualification offers a direct entry pathway into the Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2), Diploma of Disability Work and Community Welfare programs.

Content: A wide variety of content is covered in the Certificate and includes provide personal care, senior first aid, manual handling, assisting with self-medication, communicating appropriately with clients and colleagues, dementia care, palliative care, orientation to the aged care work industry and much more.
Entry Requirements: Students are required to have completed Year 12 (or equivalent). If you are an international student, you are expected to have achieved an overall IELTS score of 5.5 (overall band score) or equivalent.
